Super Brief Overview:
Up until a few months ago, Liv's life was pretty average. One evening, she was talked into visiting a local, long-abandoned house on the outskirts of town with a trio of friends; it was said to be haunted, and they were said to be bored.
During their exploration of the place, Liv found an old book, seemingly bound in leather (human or otherwise) and practically padlocked closed. Of course, being the ever sensible teenager, Liv decided to shove the book in her bag and take it back with her as they left. Going to get ice cream, the book made a reappearance alongside the suggestion that they make a snapchat story out of Liv reading out a random page, impression of a sanctimonious priest and all.
As teenagers in horror/supernatural settings tend to be, they were completely oblivious to the fact that Liv had in fact summoned forth a demonic entity to inadvertently do her bidding.
Only, in the ensuing panic of having a freaking hell beast spawn into existence, the summoning book got a little...soda-soaked. Most of the page was salvagable, all except the part that told her how to send her new friend back where he came from.
And thus, the duo of Liv and 'Sprinks' was born; partnership? Accidental. Time until end of contract? Uncertain.
☆☆☆
Brief Personality:
♥ Right off the bat, Liv's an expressive, cheery, sparky girl who's always up for a laugh. She can come across a being a little Much™ at times, especially when she's excited - she can talk very quickly and she can get rather loud - but she means well and just enjoys enjoying herself. She's easy to befriend and will happily try to get to know anyone put in front of her. Even great, looming demons summoned from the fiery pits of hell.
☆ While she can be rather ditsy, it's a good bet that at any given moment, Liv's living her best life. She doesn't take much - or anything, really - all that seriously, and can usually find a way to look on the bright side of things.
♥ When things aren't so good however, she's the first to try and lighten the situation, often using humour to soften tension or bad news.
☆ Many people, both in her peer group and adults alike, have a tendency of underestimating her. By how she speaks and how she dresses, it's very easy to assume there's nothing between her ears and that she's just a shallow teenager, flitting through life on her parent's credit cards. However, this is pretty far from the truth. Despite the usual assumptions about her, Liv's a hard worker when she puts her mind to it and is actually pretty smart in her own way. She's a very visual learner and has a pretty short attention span, which makes very book-orientated classes trickier for her (unless she's allowed to break out the pastel highlighters, in which case no textbook is safe.)
♥ She's very much a Ride or Die type of friend; once she classes you as such, she's with you until you force her out, more or less. Loyal to her friends, Liv has a tendency of putting a lot of trust in people quite quickly, which so far hasn't ended terribly for her.Yet. In the age-old Heart vs Head debate, she's absolutely the former. She's an emotional person who feels very deeply, no matter what it is she's feeling at the time.
☆ Stubborn as an ox at times, one of her more admirable (or infuriating, depending on who you ask) traits is how easily her determination to get something done can turn into blind, bull-headed steadfastness.
♥ She loves making people laugh, and will be the first to laugh at a joke or a pun, no matter how terrible it is.
In regards to Sprinks the Demon:
♥ Named for the place he was summoned and Liv finding the idea of a horned nightmare creature having such a cutesy name, after the initial terror and assuming she was about to be eaten or ripped to pieces, Liv has fairly swiftly replaced that panic with curiosity and the ever-present need to befriend. The fact that her soul may well be on the line hasn't quite sunk in yet; she's just enjoying having a looming, supernatural bodyguard/constant companion, whether either of them like it or not. And the more time they spend together, the more they've gotten to know/learned to tolerate one another as well.
About Sprinks:
• He's a powerful demon who will spend the next year at least wondering how the fuck this happened to him. Seriously, help him. He's not called Sprinkles or any variation of it and he's pretty sure he's in a new kind of Hell. Or at least, that's what he'll tell anyone willing to ask him. Deep down under many, many, many layers of fierce denial, there is a smidgen of fondness for his accidental new master.
• He can take physical/tangible shape if he so chooses, but for the sake of not inviting sheer chaos and the attention of any nearby exorcists and that ilk, he tends to remain invisible to all but Liv - HOWEVER if your character has an ability that allows them to see supernatural entities and what not, they'll see what you'd probably expect to see in this situation; there's a whole lot of height, there's horns, there's hooves, maybe a few more yellow eyes than is necessary for a winged man/goat hybrid. You get the gist.
• He has a monster sweet tooth and he's not apologising for it.
